AMERICAN LEGION MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH
American Legion Post 327 and Auxiliary will host a Mother's Day-inspired flea market on Saturday, May 3, in Clubhouse 2 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. This fundraiser will help raise funds for veterans through the many organizations the Post and Auxiliary contribute to. Dr. Don Schwartz to speak to Seniors For Peace on May 1
Seniors For Peace will meet on Thursday, May 1, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 2 p.m. for a lecture by the renowned Dr. Don Schwartz, professor emeritus of history at California State University Long Beach. Schwartz will present a program titled “The Immigration Debate In America” and will trace the history of American ambivalence toward immigrants, and how the current administration’s deportation
“Honoring Our Fallen” Golf Tournament
Residents are welcome to sign up for the “Honoring Our Fallen” memorial golf tournament on Friday, May 16, at Strawberry Farms Golf Club at 11 Strawberry Farm Road, Irvine, California, 92612.
Registration begins at 10 a.m., and includes a bloody mary bar and contests. Lunch and a shotgun start begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by happy hour and awards at 4:30 p.m.
