Amateur Radio Club
The LW Amateur Radio Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Ham, also known as amateur radio, Family Radio Service (FRS) and General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) radios play a vital role in emergency communications. They work without relying on existing infrastructure, making them ideal in disasters like earthquakes and wildfires.

Orange flag installation serves over 100 residents
GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION
The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) sponsored an orange safety flag installation for over 100 bikes, golf carts and mobility aids for residents on April 28.
Recognizing the important role the safety flag plays in preventing serious accidents, the GAF purchased the pennants for the community and installed them with volunteer members of the Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club.
