The Leisure World Library’s next AuthorSpeak event will be held Friday, June 6, at 11 a.m. in Veterans Plaza, located next to the library. Featured speaker Sheila Yasmin Marikar is the author of two novels, “The Goddess Effect” and “Friends in Napa.” The latter was released by Mindy Kaling’s Book Studio in April 2024.

Leisure World artists interested in displaying their artwork at the “Art in Bloom” fine art exhibition, sponsored by Gasper Monteer Realty Group, must apply by email to ramayanbaba@msn.com no later than tomorrow, Friday, May 30.
