Sunshine Club

The Sunshine Club will not meet on Friday, July 4, due to the GRF Fourth of July special event in Clubhouse 4 ( see page 1 for more details). The club encourages members to RSVP to the club picnic on July 19 at the Clubhouse 1 picnic area. A meal from California Pizza Kitchen will include a chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado, plus a salad and brownie for $20 per person. The club will provide

Join the RV Club’s midsummer picnic

The RV Club will meet on Tuesday, July 15, in the Clubhouse 2 picnic area for a potluck. The main course, meat and chicken, will be provided by the club. Members are asked to bring a side dish to share. Social hour for the potluck begins at 4 p.m., dinner at 4:40 and the meeting at 5:30. For more information, contact Bob Konier at 714-402-9225.

LWer councils seniors through all types of grief

But Mutual 8 resident Sharon Yagerlener (M.Div) recognizes that there are many big and small losses people go through in their lifetimes, and it’s especially important for seniors to have space to acknowledge those losses through prayer and support groups.
