GRF WEEKEND DANCES
The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra will perform Saturday, July 20, at 6 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. The Velvetones is Leisure World's own professional big band, playing big band swing and jazz standards—music for dreaming and dancing.
Gong Club Show: July 25
The Gong Club will hold a “Christmas in July” themed party on Friday, July 25, in Clubhouse 6, with an any-way-you-like it happy hour starting at 6 p.m. Six volunteer helpers are needed to assist with setup by 5. Interested volunteers should contact Lu DeSantis by text or call 310-686-4763 as soon as possible.

Community Karaoke
Karaoke folks love birthday parties. Ellen Brannigan, a popular performer, celebrated hers with family and friends at the July 9 karaoke party. She and Vito Villamor joined together singing “One Day at a Time.”
All are welcome to join Wednesday night karaoke parties, which feature a fast-paced variety of music sung by LW neighbors. Ruby Johnson delivered a beautiful, dramatic ballad. Karen
