Golden Age Foundation Board Meeting

The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will hold a board meeting on Wednesday, July 23, at 1 p.m. in the GRF Conference Room B. All GAF members are welcome to observe the meeting. This is a great opportunity to catch up on the latest news and get a preview of upcoming projects. The GAF Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Volunteers serve 350 vehicles at shredding event

GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) held its quarterly shredding service on July 10, in the Clubhouse 2 parking lot, with 12 volunteers serving 350 vehicles in two hours.. The Korean American Association (KAA) will host a night of entertainment celebrating Korean heritage on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 in the Amphitheater. The Amateur Radio Club has a General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS ) and Family Radio Service (FRS) practice drill Wednesdays at 9:30-9:45 a.m. on Channel 18-0 (Channel subject to change). FRS radios are license-free, GMRS radios require a license. They transmit with more power and can communicate over much longer distances. GMRS licenses cost $35, covering a person for 10 years with no test required.
