The Leisure World Orchestra will begin rehearsals next week to prepare the 34 works it plans to perform during its 60th anniversary season.

The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra is Leisure World’s own professional big band, playing big band swing and jazz standards. The orchestra returns to Clubhouse 4 on Sunday, Sept. 7, from 6-9 p.m. The Velvetones play regularly at Clubhouse 4 on the first and third Sunday evenings.
