Monday Night Bunco Club will play on Sept. 8
Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. The Monday Night Bunco Club plays on the second and fourth Mondays every month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6 p.m. sharp. There is a halftime social. The next Bunco meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 8.

LW Men’s Golf Club
The LW Men’s Golf Club’s second tournament of the month was held Aug. 27. Fiftysix golfers teed off at 7:30 a.m. at the 1,680-yard par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. The weather was hot and humid with full sun for the entire round and barely a breath of a breeze that rose late in the morning. Hydration was very important.

LW Bocce Ball hosts show Sept. 5
The LW Bocce Club will begin its fall season Sept. 7-13. To kick off the season, the club is hosting a free concert at Veterans Plaza on Friday, Sept. 5, at 2:30 p.m. David Anthony and David Williams—members of the Hollywood Stones, who performed this summer at the Amphitheater— will play Beatles and Rolling Stone songs for everyone’s enjoyment. Everyone in LW is invited to come for an afternoon
