Town Hall Recap-GRF Financial Overview and Health

In a departure from previous town halls that were tightly orchestrated with limited backand- forth interaction, the GRF Board-sponsored town hall was a breath of fresh air, said several residents who attended the event in Clubhouse 4 on Aug. 28.

Local animal shelter will collect donations at Creedenced show
SEAL BEACH ANIMAL CARE CENTER
Volunteers from the Seal Beach Animal Care Center (SBACC) will be at the Amphitheater Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute on Thursday, Sept. 4, to collect both cash and materials for the shelter. All those who contribute will be eligible to win a $25 gift card to Target, Home Goods, or California Pizza Kitchen.

Residents are reporting that their Proptia phone applications from the Apple App Store and Google Play store are not working.
That’s because Leisure World residents’ data has not been uploaded to the server that serves Proptia 2.0. That upload is scheduled for Sept. 15. Until then, residents attempting to use any Proptia 2.0 phone application will be unable to.

At its Aug. 26 meeting, the GRF Board of Directors, upon the recommendation of the Member Services Committee, approved the purchase of holiday decorations and lighting at a cost not to exceed $24,935, from the operating fund.
