Wa-Rite members lose over 18 pounds in one w
eek Wa-Rite is a female-only club that meets on Friday mornings from 9-10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:45. Dues are $10 a year, plus 10 cents upon signing in. LW ID cards must be shown. For support on a weight-loss journey, women are welcome to stop by at 8:15 to weigh in and complete the registration paperwork.

GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION EVENTS
Over 300 federal and California state tax returns have been e-filed for Leisure World residents so far this year with the help of the Golden Age Foundation (GAF) and AARP.
The GAF has added two additional days March 26 and April 9 for appointments.
IRS-certified volunteers will prepare and e-file tax returns for full-year California residents. Appointments

EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL
Boots on Ground is a disaster preparedness plan for Leisure World developed by resident Marty Williams under the patronage of the Emergency Information Council (EIC). It is a neighbor-helping -neighbor initiative that establishes disaster response command and coordination responsibilities and activities among participating Leisure World clubs and other local entities.
