New club created for LW fashionistas
FUN WITH FASHION CLUB
A new Leisure World club, Fun with Fashion, kicked off its fist meeting with a clothing swap. Once everyone finished “shopping,” people were invited to model their favorite find. The original owner of the garment was then identified and thanked. People also enjoyed spaghetti with marinara meat sauce and a pesto alternative.

The LW Humanist Association will meet on Sunday, Nov. 2, in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Marvin Rolnick, an author, podcaster and stand-up comedian. The Humanists are taking a break from the usual serious stuff.

Marcy Sheinwold, J.D., president of the Foundation of Laguna Woods Village will speak at the Leisure World Cares Fund’s meeting on Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9.
