Twenty-six teams of one man and one woman competed in the Guys and Gals Tournament on March 18 at the Turtle Lake Golf Course. Low net scores were by teams Jae H. and Sun Lee, and Scott Tuchfarber and Pam Krug, at 9 under 45, followed by John Kolthoff and Janell Hiebert, Bob and Janice Turner, Bruce Bowles and Linda Herman, 7 under 47. With all the hype about the hot weather, 15 golfers of the LW Men’s Golf League were surprised to be greeted with fog and dampness at the River View Golf Course on March 16.
