The Hospitality Center in Clubhouse 6 will be open on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, from 9-11 a.m. to help residents welcome the new year. On Dec. 17, new GRF Executive Director David Norvell had a meet and greet session there in his quest to get to know Leisure World and its residents.

SENIORS FOR PEACE
Seniors for Peace will host speaker Dr. Don Schwartz, professor emeritus of history, on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. His program is called “Distorting History: Re-writing the Past to Control the Future.” He will cover how totalitarian regimes distort and falsify history.
