Drivers have become dependent upon GPS to navigate unfamiliar routes. Unfortunately, the directions occasionally lead into a lake or wilderness, much to the bewilderment of the user. The same rule holds true with GPS as with maps: the directions are only as reliable as the accuracy of the information used to create them. God has given his word, the Bible, as a believer’s navigation system for life.

There are terrible tragedies currently happening in the world and the country. How are people to make sense of these tragedies? Where is God in the midst of these horrific events? How can people possibly believe in a god of love, in such a time as this? As some people wrestle with these difficult questions this week without clear answers, they can at least take solace that they are in a safe space
