GAF collects 500 pounds of batteries


The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) volunteer team collected over 500 pounds, or 10 boxes, of batteries to recycle on Nov. 19. Residents brought their used household batteries to the Clubhouse 2 parking lot where volunteers collected, sorted, and packed the batteries for shipment to the recycle facility. While GAF holds household battery collections every four months, residents can take their batteries
