Cribbage Club
The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1 with refreshments served from noon-12:15. Anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. The yearly dues are $5 and $1 is collected from each player who plays. Prize money is awarded the following week to those finishing in the top four scores. New players are welcome to join in. There will be no meetings Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.
Chess Club
The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills. People are encouraged to bring a friend and enjoy the moment.

Tournament Poker Club to offer lesson series
Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in should make plans to play with the Tournament Poker Club on Jan. 4. Regular tournaments are on the first three Saturdays of every month and start with coffee and treats and registration at 10 a.m. Cards are in the air at 10. There is no late seating.
