LW Table Tennis Club coach medals at U.S. Open


The Leisure World Table Tennis Club congratulates Coach Jin Up Kim on winning a semi-finalist medal in the Men’s Doubles (65 and over) category at the 2024 U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships held in Las Vegas last month. Kim was a national team coach of Qatar for 13 years, and then of Guam for 12 years. The club thanks the Recreation Department for providing world-class instructors to the Leisure

Women’s Pool Cue Club

Women’s Pool Cue Club


The Women’s Pool Cue Club is a place for women in Leisure World to get together to play pool and snooker. The club meets every Monday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1. In addition, a meeting is held on the first Monday of the month to discuss issues that concern the club, followed by a game of pool and optional lunch at a local restaurant. The pool room is open from 7 a.m. 10 p.m. daily.

The 2025 LW Bocce Ball Club winter season began on Jan. 7, and will continue until the end of February. The winter finals and party will take place in March. All four leagues have full rosters and member players should have their schedules by now. The 2024 bocce season was a huge success and the club looks forward to another exciting year.
