SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB An emergency Shuffleboard Club board meeting was held on Feb. 20 to discuss the happy circumstance of making sure every member who wants to play in a league can play. Ever accommodating and thrilled with the new and renewed interest in the sport, the board unanimously agreed to start the spring season the week of April 1 with three leagues. Those would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in can make plans to play with the Tournament Poker Club on Saturday, March 1. Regular tournaments are on the first three Saturdays of every month and start with coffee/treats and registration at 10 a.m. Cards are in the air at 10:30. There is no late seating.
