Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em with the Tournament Poker Club for a $5 buy-in should make plans to play on Saturday, March 15. Week seven of the LW Pool Club (LWPC) league nights and snooker league brought some changes in the standings. In the Monday night American League, The Snipers held on to their first place spot, but their lead is now only eight games. Team Deadeye had a big 10-3 win over Anywhere But There. On the first, second, fourth and fifth Fridays of every month the Party Bridge Club gathers in Clubhouse 1 at 12:30 p.m. Those who would like to join in can call Sue Ellis at 562-343-3263 or Eve Rae at 708-717-8778 so a table can be arranged. The Cribbage club meets every Tuesday at noon and refreshments are served each week from noon-12:15. Anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5, and each player pays $1 to play. Prize money is awarded to those finishing in the top four scores the following week. A total of seven games are played each week.
