SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB The Shuffleboard Club spring league season beginning on Tuesday, April 1, will be a recordbreaking event. With the growth of the club membership, there will be 13 teams of seven players each. Both Thursday afternoon and Friday morning leagues will have four teams playing each week, while the Tuesday evening league will accommodate five teams for the weekly competitions.

The Monday Night Bunco Club plays on the second and fourth Monday every month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6 p.m. There is a halftime social to mingle with friends and neighbors. Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. The Bunco Club will meet on March 24. The LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT) will hold a safety class on Friday, March 28, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The topic “How to Communicate in an Emergency” will be presented by LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien.
