All you need is a library card. Go to ocpl.org and complete the online library card application or download the application. Men’s Friday Golf The Men’s Friday Golf played at David L. Baker Executive Golf Course in Fountain Valley on June 26. Eleven men and two women challenged the par 62, 3800-yard course. The weather was cool and overcast but when the sun came it became hot and humid. The course was in fairly good shape and was a challenge to the competitors. Bookstore cannot accept donations

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY The Friends of the Library Bookstore has been closed since mid-March. This week, it suspended donations as it is at capacity and has no more space. Residents are asked to hold onto their donations until the Bookstore reopens.

What do you get when you give 2,500 yards of cotton fabric and 350,000 inches of thin elastic to 120 Leisure World residents? Exactly 24,547 masks, according to Dean Jacobus of the LW Sewing Brigade. “There are still about 200 more masks coming in, so we will not hit 25,000 masks but close. We are not stopping the sewing brigade but we are taking a break through July,” he said. Yevette Louie (above)
