Common wisdom is often the most applicable. Will Rogers said, “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” The wisdom in James 3 is not what one might obtain from study or discourse. It does not demand attention or respect, but is marked by humility and living honorably. Pastor Chuck Franco continues the study in James with a sermon titled “True Wisdom.”

Community Church will continue to walk through the season of Lent, looking at inverting the season’s focus from sorrow and lament to light and love. Many people are fearful for friends and loved ones and feeling incredibly discouraged and hopeless.
