LW Korean Community Church

Senior Pastor Yong Jang-Young began his sermon on March 8 for LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC) by quoting John 8:36, “Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” He emphasized that the freedom found in the Lord is not a temporary liberation offered by the world, but a true freedom that begins deep within the soul.

People are not called simply to survive, but to serve God and live in harmony. Sin breaks a people’s relationship with God. Hatred and complaint rob people of gratitude and obscure their vision of grace.

However, those who believe in God are different. Believers are a community that helps one another, worships with joy and remembers God’s justice and love. Faith must uphold both God’s justice and mercy.

Jesus taught the way of love, forgiveness and blessing. Having received that love, believers must share the gospel with joy, not fear.

When people seek the Lord with earnest hearts, faith, and persistent will, he forgives their sins and raises them up.

LWKCC worships service every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and holds early morning prayer at the sanctuary led by the senior pastor at 6 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The church is located next to St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place. For more information, call 714-323-0897, or email tyongjang10@gmail.com.
