Police will return to LW for forum on golf cart laws

Leisure World residents are invited to attend a Golf Cart Community Forum on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4. This informative and collaborative event is designed to provide clarity, education, and open discussion regarding golf cart use in Leisure World.

The forum will offer a clear overview of golf cart laws and regulations as they apply to Leisure World, including an explanation of the important differences between golf carts and Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs). Topics will also GOLF CARTS

include LSV registration requirements, operational guidelines, and best practices to help ensure safety for everyone using the community’s roadways and walkways.

Representatives from the Seal Beach Police Department will be in attendance to assist with explanations, share their expertise, and help address questions from residents. Their participation will provide valuable insight and help foster a shared understanding of how state and local regulations apply within our community.

A significant portion of the forum will be dedicated to a question-and-answer session, allowing residents to ask specific questions and receive direct, practical guidance regarding the operation of their golf carts.

This forum reflects GRF’s ongoing commitment to education, safety, and open communication. All residents who operate or are considering operating a golf cart or LSV are encouraged to attend.
