Paws, Claws and Beaks Club changes meeting schedule

Paws, Claws and Beaks Club is where LW pet owners connect and help one another with support and knowledge for their pets.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 18, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, at 4 p.m., to complete preparation for the Mutual 3 Emergency Preparedness Fair on March 28 from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 2.

The club’s main focus is to help LW be prepared for pet safety in case of an emergency. This includes:

• Working with Boots on the Ground, Emergency Information Council, LW Community Emergency Response Team and the LW Amateur Radio Club in case of a disaster in LW.

The club will meet on the third Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, from 4-7:30 p.m.

The club will hold three potluck picnics this year in May, July and September at the Clubhouse 1 picnic area on the second Thursday from noon-3 p.m. People are asked to bring a side dish.
