Faith Christian Assembly
The phrase “In the year of our Lord” was used in the past to signify the period of time after the birth of Jesus. Pastor Sheri Leming of Faith Christian Assembly encourages residents to begin using this phrase to help set the tone for the new year as a sober reminder of who the year belongs to. Believers should acknowledge that the year belongs to God, and seek God’s wisdom and prayerfully ask what he wants from them in 2026.
Going further, Pastor Leming encourages believers to narrow the year down to moments that have been given from the Lord to honor him with seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months, and years.
Join Faith Christian Assembly each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd. The Bible Study is held on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. The Bible study will not meet on Dec. 31 in celebration of New Year’s Eve.
