Drop off donations at Amphitheater Feb. 21
SALVATION ARMY
Donations of furniture, clothing and household goods will be collected on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater bus hub.
The bi-monthly collection event is organized by The Salvation Army and the Golden Age Foundation to provide a convenient way for residents to donate unwanted items. Events are held on the second Saturdays of even-numbered months. The next events will be held in April, June, August, October and December.
Plastic donation bags are available in all clubhouses, the LW Library and News Office.
The Salvation Army accepts donations of clean, gently used, salable household items, including clothing, bedding, kitchenware, small appliances and electronics, toys, sporting goods, books, art, home decor, and small and medium furniture. All donations must be brought to the Amphitheater; the Salvation Army does not pick up items.
