Scott Charles Steeper was born in Lawrence, Kansas, on Feb.

26, 1949, and passed away on Oct. 15, 2025. Scott was an Episcopalian, a lawyer and avid bird watcher and choral singer.

He loved singing and animals. Once while swimming with dolphins, the pod picked him to swim with, so his love for animals was received willingly.

He lived in Leisure World for two years. He is survived by his widow, Susan Hawk, his daughter Kate, his granddaughters Sophie and Charlie as well as his sisters Janet and Paula.
