To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the Leisure World Korean Community Church (LWKCC), led by senior pastor Young-Yong Jang held its sixth Biblical Panorama Pilgrimage across the eastern United States and Canada from Oct. 19-25. A total of 54 church members participated in the pilgrimage.

Church members began their journey by visiting New York and New Jersey, exploring the history and religious traditions of the eastern United States. They then traveled to Philadelphia, reflecting on the impact of America’s independence and religious heritage on the church and society today.

Following this, they attended a performance of the biblical figure Noah at the Sight & Sound Theater, a large-scale biblical musical theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

They then crossed the Canadian border and admired the majestic Niagara Falls, meditating on God’s providence of creation. They then visited Noah’s Ark and the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they witnessed firsthand the biblical doctrine of creation and God’s work. Church officials stated, “This pilgrimage is not simply a journey, but a spiritual pilgrimage to confirm the roots of our faith and experience that the Bible is true history.” They added, “It was a time to realize once again that the God we believe in still controls history.”

Pastor Jang Young-Yong said, “As we mark the 15th anniversary of the church’s founding, I hope that the church’s steps will be even more firmly grounded in the Bible and that this will serve as an opportunity to pass on the faith to the next generation.”
