Community Karaoke

The Community Karaoke Club’s Oct. 8 karaoke party was a birthday celebration for Julie Nulad and others born in October. Wednesday nights in Clubhouse 1 are a happy place for singers like Wayne Urban and Ray Geierman who are so entertaining. Soothing tunes are favorites for Richard Yokomi, Chuck Oehl and Danna Sanders and many others. Bruce and Flo Lee roused the audience with “Homeward Bound.” Maryanne Bartel rocked with the Elvis hit “Burning Love.” Forty-one happy folks performed in a crowded hall.

Karaoke is about having fun. The club appreciates the shy newcomer and the seasoned performer. All are welcome to join the fun in Clubhouse 1 on Wednesdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Practice sessions are held Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m.
