Helen S. Gray 1923-2025

Helen S. Gray passed on Sept. 22, 2025, at the age of 102 in Seal Beach, just one day after celebrating her 102nd birthday. Born on Sept. 21, 1923, Helen lived a long and vibrant life marked by her fierce independence and ceaseless energy. She was often described as an “energizer bunny,” always on the move and engaged in the lives of her family and friends.

Helen’s caring nature and thoughtfulness touched many lives, especially within her family and close circle of friends. She is survived by her daughter, Janice, her sisters Lupe and Mary, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m., with a Rosary preceding at 10:30. Helen’s ashes will be interred at All Soul’s Cemetery.
