FACILITIES UPDATE

Communications Director
The inbound lane of the North Gate will be partially closed for three days—from Jan. 10-13—for concrete road repairs.
The exit lane will remain open during the project.
Detour signs will be placed at Seal Beach Boulevard near Orange County Fire Station 48 to alert drivers that North Gate entry is closed.
Residents should avoid the North Gate and direct their guests, vendors and other visitors to the Main Gate during construction.
On Saturday, Jan. 10, MJ Jurado will remove the inbound lane and pour concrete, which will require three days to dry before normal gate operations can resume.
On Tuesday, Jan. 13, CG Systems will install the wiring needed to reconnect gate access operations.
That job is expected to take a day or less.
The gate should be fully operational by Wednesday, Jan. 14.
In other GRF paving news, slurry and repainting at the intersection of Golden Rain Road and St. Andrews Drive will start on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Work should be complete by Saturday, Jan. 17. During construction, lanes will be closed as needed for slurry and painting.
Drivers and pedestrians are urged to take alternate routes as much as possible and exercise caution in the construction zones.
