HOLIDAY TOY DISTRIBUTION

Toys collected during Leisure World’s annual toy drive will be distributed by the Brown Descents Car Club on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Orangewood Baptist Church, 8421 Orangewood Ave., Garden Grove.

The event will start with a car show and holiday bazaar starting at 8 a.m. Additional toys will be collected from those in attendance from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The giveaway will start at 1:30.

“These toys aren’t getting stuffed in a corner somewhere,” said Brown Descents Car Club President Robert Esparza. “These are going directly to local children in Orange County. It’s very, very special.”

Mutual 1 residents Jewell Chapman (l) and Ruth Stew - art donated a toy each to gain entry to the Dec. 13 toy drive dance in Clubhouse 4.
