Rainbow Community wraps 2025

The Rainbow Community organized a variety of events during 2025, fostering friendship within its diverse community.

Highlights included a collaboration with the Long Beach LGBTQ+ Center for a dance party; a summer barbecue; a men’s brunch to foster connection; a streamed VOX Femina concert; a hike at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands; fundraising at two swap meets that turned item donations into big wins; a docent-led tour at the Bowers Museum; a theater outing to the Gem Theater in Garden Grove;and a fabulous Friendsgiving feast.

Monthly potlucks were pure magic, with everyone bringing dishes from cherry Jell-O to giant smothered burritos, trifle and more. Weekly scheduled walks burned off the potluck calories.
