GRF BOARD
The GRF Board wants to take a closer look at the aesthetic and functionality of Leisure World’s vehicle entry gates. To that end, the GRF Board unanimously approved the creation of a GRF Vehicle Gates Upgrades & Beautification Ad Hoc Committee at its Nov. 25 meeting.
The committee members will be Mike Banfield (chair), Namil Shin, Carol Levine, Kathryn Jones, Marla Hamblin and Janet Isom.
Critics say the Main Gate does not present a good first impression to prospective residents.
Renovation of the Main Gate and Security Office is slated for 2028, according to the GRF Reserve Study. Board members expressed excitement at getting a head start on project discussions.
