Harvest Festival is Saturday, Oct. 25
GRF HARVEST FESTIVAL
The event will feature live music, demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, and a golf cart parade
Residents attending this year’s Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. can enjoy a special hands-on garden demonstration. Master gardener Susanna Kiely will show guests how to plant for the fall season, and participants can plant their own seedling to take home and grow.
The free event at the Community Gardens also features live bluegrass by the Wimberley Bluegrass Band, a garden-wide scavenger hunt, lawn games, and a spooky golf cart parade by Rolling Thunder starting at 9:45 a.m. and concluding at the gardens at 10 a.m.
People are encouraged to bring nonexpired canned and dry goods to support the OC Food Bank. Each donation earns a raffle ticket for prizes, including a 55-inch 4K television.
Scooter’s Food Truck will be on site with items for purchase.
Because parking at the gardens is limited, residents are encouraged to use the convenient shuttle service running from the Amphitheater parking lot.
This year’s Harvest Festival is proudly sponsored by SCAN, On-Site Sales, J& J Landscapes, Serenity Home Care and Primary Care Associates of California.
