Assembly of God

Pastor Chuck Franco will begin a three-part series titled, “An Attitude Reboot,” this Sunday, July 27 in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

Perspective changes everything. An ant sees what is immediately in front of it and focuses on how the present problem affects its own progress or task.. The eagle’s view from a high perspective shows the patterns of geography, the interplay between the elements, and his own place in it. Philippians 2:3, 5-11 directs believers toward the balance of humility, seeing one’s own place in life, while simultaneously evidencing the divine characteristics of Jesus. The sermon title for this week is “Looking at Life Through a Telescope.”

The Hymn Sing will be held on Sunday July 27, at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. People will sing old hymns “from the book,” listen to a short devotional, and fellowship afterward.

The Wednesday Bible study group will wrap up the series “Lyrics for Life” by Lisa Harper, with a lesson titled “A Divine Invitation to Dance.”This study in Psalms has provided comfort for the tough times and encouragement to celebrate the good times. The video lesson is followed by candid class discussion, moderated by Pastor Franco.
