‘Good Trouble’ protests honor John Lewis on Saturday, July 19

There are three opportunities to protest this week sponsored by the Seniors For Peace and the Democratic Clubs. Today, July 17, and Saturday, July 19 ,have been designated as national days of protest, with the theme “Good Trouble Lives On” in honor of the great freedom fighter and Congressman John Lewis, who passed away three years ago today. There will be a protest today, July 17 in front of the Globe from 2-4 p.m. On Saturday, July 19, the freedom rallies continue, and protesters will gather at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street from noon-2 p.m., continuing at Leisure World in front of the Globe from 2-4 p.m. People are welcome to participate in any or all of the protests.
