It’s time for some “Good Trouble.” The Freedom Rally, hosted by the Democratic Club and the Seniors for Peace Club, will be held Saturday, July 19, from 2-4 p.m. in front of the LW Globe. Residents can also join other Seal Beach residents at the earlier protest on Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street from noon-2 p.m.
The Democratic Club’s hospitality booth is open the first Tuesday and the third Thursday each month from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. People can visit with like-minded individuals, register to vote, change address, or change party affiliation at the booth. The Voter Education series is held on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in Clubhouse 3, Room 3. For more information, email Beverleybender@gmail.com.

The Democratic Club’s next membership meeting will be on Wednesday, July 23, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2 at 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Joe Kalmick from the Seal Beach City Council. People can arrive as early as 12:30 to socialize with residents. Club members who are unable to attend in person can join the meeting by Zoom, email lwsbdemocraticclub@gmail.com for information.
