Photo Arts Club

At the Sept. 11 Photo Arts Club meeting, there were many interesting submissions on the subject sports. Ben Benjamins noted that it was a difficult subject—for commercial purposes, specially trained photographers are assigned to that subject. He noted that if a sport involves a ball, the ball must be in the picture. A fuzzy background might be considered and the expression of faces add extra interest to the pictures.

The Photo Arts Club will meet on Oct. 9, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Bring an iPhone/Android and/or camera.

The assignment for the October meeting is to take pictures of a frame within frame. Image searches on Google and Safari may be good sources of inspiration. Photographers should send their best three photos to Ziggy Romano at siegfried.romano@gmail. com by Oct. 6. People can also bring photos of their choice to be displayed and commented on.
