In the heart of Huntington Beach, Thai Gulf is a neighborhood restaurant located on Beach Boulevard. It’s also owned by our very own Patsiri Kijkul of Mutual 9. She is a friendly person who has worked hard and many long hours into the evening making sure this cozy spot serves up authentic Thai food. We ordered Thai fried rice with chicken, egg, and onion. It was comfort food at its best. We also ordered the spicy yellow curry with chicken, carrots and potatoes, along with steamed rice. Because there’s always room for dessert, we had the sweet rice and mango. The restaurant serves wine and beer, perfect for sipping on the lovely patio. Everything about Thai Gulf—from the welcoming owner to the fresh, flavorful food—feels genuine and made with care. If you’re craving something both delicious and heartfelt, skip the chains and support your neighbor. Thai Gulf is the kind of place that’s worth the drive.
