Golden Age Foundation awards $25,000 grant
Golden Age Foundation (GAF) has awarded a $25,000 grant to Pathways to continue providing vital services to the shareholders of Leisure World. This funding will ensure the continuation and expansion of programs that directly impact the well-being and quality of life for shareholders.
Pathways plays an integral role within the social services team at Leisure World, a collaborative effort spearheaded by Robann Arshat, Golden Rain’s member resource liaison. The social services team focuses on addressing the unique needs of Leisure World shareholders by providing in-home case management at no cost to residents.
“This grant represents more than just financial support; it’s a commitment to the well-being of the community,” said Tammie Ottenad, program manager for Pathways. “With the help of the Golden Age Foundation, we can continue to provide essential services to those who need it most.”
Pathways offers care navigation, case management, on-site bereavement groups, volunteer programs and hospice support. All of their programs are designed to help residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. The partnership between Pathways and the Golden Age Foundation underscores a shared mission to empower older adults to age safely at home.
The $25,000 grant will enhance existing programs to ensure that every shareholder at Leisure World has access to the resources they need to lead fulfilling lives.
The GAF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to serving the special needs of shareholders and residents. The purpose is to make the community a better and happier place in which to live.
GAF has supported the Pathways program since 2019 to continue community betterment.
