February brings two rock ‘n’ roll shows
LEGENDS OF ROCK
Saturday Dance in CH 4
The Legends of Rock will perform Saturday, Feb. 8, in Clubhouse 4 at 7 p.m., sponsored by the GRF Recreation Department. All are welcome but guests must be accompanied by the resident who invites them.
The Legends of Rock have carved out a reputation in Orange County, playing rock ‘n’ roll hits from the ‘50s-‘80s, led by Mutual 17 resident Jon Pearlstone. The band will join the GRF Weekend Dance lineup for three special appearances in 2025. Remember to sign in, as it’s the only way to track bands’ popularity. All concerts are free, but tips are appreciated. For more information, contact kathyt@lwsb.com.
Hump Day Dance in CH 2
The Legends of Rock returns to Clubhouse 2 on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 6-8:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 2 for the Pickleball Club’s monthly hump day dance.
Mick Jagger tribute artist David Anthony will join the band, performing Rolling Stone’s tunes and a special set during the break.
The band will perform the best of the best dance songs from artists like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley, Doobie Brothers and many more.
All are welcome to dance, sing along and enjoy classic rock tunes. This dance is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
The band features Andre Du Somme (back, l-r) on lead guitar and vocals, Jon Pearlstone on the guitar and harmonica, Laura Gardner on vocals and percussion, John Sanchez on bass and vocals, Ziggy Romano on keyboard and Tony Burris (front) on drums and vocals.
