Cribbage Club

There was a large turnout of the Cribbage Club to kick the new year off at the Jan. 7 gathering. Yearly dues of $5 are being collected this month as a reminder to those who haven’t paid yet.

The club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 is assured a place to play. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. The club looks forward to welcoming new members.

Carrie Kistner provided homemade cake with ice cream in celebration of her upcoming birthday. Kistner and Potsy Frank served everyone.

Winners for the week include: Julie Milburn and Mike Roso, 840, first place; Rosemary Wu, 838, second; Helen Elich, 835, third; Joyce Basch, 832, fourth. Mary Holder finished with no wins.

Margaret Smith had an outstanding hand of 28 points—with 29 being the highest possible—earning her a special money award. The club congratulates Smith on her great hand.
