Waltz, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba, swing and polka on offer at Oct. 6 dance

DANCERS & MIXERS

The Dancers and Mixers Dance Club’s next dance will be held Oct. 6 at Clubhouse 4 from 7-9 p.m.

The live music is varied and optimized for easy dancing, all provided by LW’s own Linda Herman, an accordionist with 56 years of professional experience— she’s seen it all. Don’t be fooled: a digital accordion is a completely different kind of musical instrument.

Dancers can expect waltzes, foxtrots, cha-chas, rhumbas, swing tunes and even polkas. Ballroom dance experience is not required.

The dances are meant to offer fun and conversation. A good club turnout ensures that people without partners will find someone to dance with. People should bring their own snacks and beverages. The dance is free and no membership is required. For more information, call 562-431-1257.
