Orchestra rehearsals begin Sept. 8

Among the Leisure World Orchestra’s new players are hornist Dan Tyler and violinist Benjamin Welch. They’ll join the group’s 45 other members in formal rehearsals on Sept. 8 to prepare for the season’s three 60th anniversary concerts in December, March and June. Area musicians who play orchestral instruments can join the group’s rehearsals on the Amphitheater stage on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon-2:15 p.m.
