Art, Craft and Hobby Expo and open house is Saturday, Sept. 12

LW ART CLUBS

Members of various Leisure World-based art, craft and hobby clubs will showcase and sell their creations at an Art, Craft and Hobby Expo on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 4.

This is an opportunity to see the work that talented residents produce from a variety of the shops in Leisure World. Studios dedicated to art, lapidary and ceramics will be open. People can check out equipment, explore the facilities and learn more about what artistic opportunities await them. All of the clubs gladly offer instruction and welcome new members.

Free snacks and beverages will be provided by Gasper Monteer Realty Group. Live music will be performed by the Glenn Cashman Jazz Trio.

“There are not many communities that have available to their residents all of the shops and clubs that we have here at Leisure World,” wrote Lapidary Club President Greg Meyers. “Think about taking advantage of it.”
