LW Men’s Golf Club

Nine teams of five or six men and women—49 total golfers— played a shotgun scramble on the Turtle Lake Golf Course on Sept. 30. All the teams played 18 holes. The goal was to be the team with the lowest gross score.

The first place team came in at 10 under and was comprised of Jae Chio, Bruce Bowles, Darry Holten, Ann Tran and Janelle Hiebert. Two teams tied for second at 8 under, and three teams tied at 7 under. Significantly, Gene Archambault and Holten had holes-in-one on holes No.

10 and 8 respectively. The next men’s tournament is on Oct. 14 with the nine-hole tournament scheduled as the last tee time of the second flight.
