Expo will feature emergency preparedness supplies Oct. 16

EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL

The Emergency Information Council (EIC) will sponsor its annual Emergency Preparedness Expo on Friday, Oct. 16, in Clubhouse 4 from 10 a.m.-noon. An assortment of booths will feature emergency preparedness items for sale and free informational flyers. Items for sale by provider More Prepared include emergency go-bag supplies, food and canned water. Self-protection strategist Stun Gun Jen will offer an assortment of personal protection devices. OC Fire Authority education specialist Elizabeth Denny will provide information about the fire authority’s readiness to respond in Leisure World.

Free raffle tickets will be distributed at the door and periodic drawings will be held for prizes including emergency kits, a fire proof document bag and other valuable items.
