She also spearheaded a robust collaboration with Mutual directors to update a 60-year-old management agreement, among many other accomplishments. When she stepped down as president, she received a standing ovation from fellow directors, staff and residents for service above and beyond the call of duty. Her tenure also included a term as vice president from 2019-2020 and chairing the Recreation, Administration and Mutual Administration committees. The board also said goodbye to Carol Levine, who represented Mutual 10. She has been on the Board since 2020 and chaired the Architectural Design & Review Committee (ADRC) in its last year, when amenities and staff buildings were being upgraded and overhauled. She also served as corporate secretary for two terms from 2022-2024.

Don Horning of Mutual 2 was elected in 2024 and chaired the Member Services Committee.

During the meeting, the chairs of GRF’s five standing committees gave their annual reports. Those include Administration, Vicki Burdman, chair; Facilities, Michael Banfield, chair; Member Services, Don Horning, chair; Operations, Pattricia Vienna, chair; and Finance, Sandy Geffner, chair.

Community Rules Violation (CRV) Panel Chair Marla Hamblin also recapped the panel’s year.
